Southern Landscape, a 40 year fixture in Austin and the Hill County is hiring Landscape Maintenance Team Members, Team Leaders and entire Maintenance Teams. Have a passion for working outside, then join a team of professional landscapers to maintain exquisite properties. Daily tasks include mowing and edging of lawns, pruning trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and operating and maintaining a variety of tools and equipment used in horticultural operations. Job Duties and Requirements 1. Maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism. 2. Supervise and participate in horticulture operations, including landscape and estate maintenance. 3. Operate power equipment including lawn tractors, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, and hand equipment. 4. Operate a company vehicle in safe and efficient manner. 5. Proactively and consistently communicate. 6. Enforce company standards for safety, cleanliness, professionalism, and customer care. 7. Wear approved and required personal protective equipment at all times. 8. Complete project documentation in an organized and timely manner when requested. 9. Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles. Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate • Passion for horticulture and the natural environment. • Experience in leading horticultural operations. • Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality. • Valid driver’s license with minimal violations. • High ethical standards.
