The GOP has been fretting all along about immigrants becoming US Citizens and voting Democratic. When earlier immigrants passed by the Statue of Liberty and joined this great country, they could choose how they wanted to vote. Once these immigrants realize that the GOP thinks of them as sub-human, they will flock to the voting booths and cast their votes for those who help them, not those who treat them like trash.
