M/Y Captain with Residential Maintenance Experience

(NOT ACCEPTING OUT OF STATE APPLICATIONS) Seeking a FULL TIME M/Y Captain with maintenance experience. This position requires a self-starter personality with the ability to work independently and complete all tasks to the HIGHEST QUALITY STANDARD. This individual will be required to handle multiple maintenance projects as well as maintaining and piloting a boat with Volvo IPS POD Drives. Marine Requirements: -MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE PILOTING A BOAT WITH VOLVO IPS POD Drives -Master 100 ton license a plus -Knowledge of tools, methods and materials used in general boat cleaning/maintenance -Experience piloting boats up to 16m/50ft -Experience securing boats to docks, connecting and monitoring utility services -Daily inspection of dock and boat lifts -Monitoring and replacement of any accessible zincs -Washing and cleaning of exterior boat surfaces (topside, hull, vinyl and canvas) -Waxing of boat exterior hard surfaces -Corrosion protection including but not limited to: engine and electrical components, clamps and through-hulls -Testing, monitoring and maintaining of all boat components -Perform record keeping duties (i.e. Service records, basic logs) as required Other Requirements: -Basic Plumbing Skills -Replace door locks and hardware -Electrical: replace gfi’s, ballasts, wall outlets, switches and light fixture replacement -Drywall repair -HVAC maintenance -General Carpentry -Fix major appliances such as washers, dryers, fridge, stove/oven and microwave repairs -Must have reliable truck/Van -Must have vehicle insurance -Must have VALID Driver’s License ALL APPLICANTS MUST MEET REQUIREMENTS LISTED ABOVE TO BE CONSIDERED 1.)Cover Letter 2.)Resume 3.)Job Reference PLEASE Benefits: 75K-85K based on level of experience Paid time off accrued after 1 year Schedule: 8 hour shift (some weekends and holidays) Work Location: Coronado
