Need a little extra spending $$$? Looking for someone who enjoys spending a little time outdoors. This position is for the care of a single-family rental house with three bedrooms that are rented out independent of one another, and is estimated to take between three and five hours/mo. Retired folks encouraged to apply.
Tasks:
- During winter, shovel snow from and/or throw salt on walkways when necessary. Shovel, salt, and salt dispenser provided.
- During summer, mow lawn (bagless/mulch) every other week. eMower provided.
- Text or call owner, whenever a situation that requires repairs or maintenance occurs.
- When presented w/a task that needs contracted out, contact, schedule, & receive vendors (plumber, electrician, etc).
- Set up door code for new tenants; delete door code for terminating tenants. Instructions provided.
- Assess condition of rooms after tenants vacate, take & email pics, when necessary.
Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to shovel walks and run a lawn mower
- Have strong communication skills, verbal and written
Compensation:
- $120/mo base pay for up to 5 hours, $20/hr for any hours above and beyond 5 hrs/mo
Marketing, screening of tenants, & rental-agreement paperwork to be handled by owner.
