Singer Songwriter Looking to Re-build Band

Description

Late 30s singer songwriter looking to put together a lo-fi, garage inspired indie-rock band. Seeking folks into fun, simple songs and open to making them musically weird (while still keeping them fun and accessible). I have a handful or two of songs in different states of completion and orphaned lyrics looking to be put to music or mercifully put down. I want to put on energetic performances and do more recordings. Big goals are maybe play Black Cat and/or Fort Reno. Besides that, just trying to play some good shows to hopefully decent crowds of people. That could be at clubs, backyards, basements or local fests. Looking for folks with flexible-ish schedules, champing to play live and record. Also looking for folks willing to share in the tasks of promotion and outreach. I look at a band as something of a democratic endeavor which means sharing skills and effort outside of the music. Also, kind of just looking for folks that it would be fun to catch a show with or hang and chat. That includes people from whatever background, unless said people have problems with others. Pretty basic-assed dude here but looking for any and all interested parties. Shit, this ad has kept you interested this far and you're still interested after hearing sound clips, who am I to not at least hope we'd get along. It's looking like the band that I'm in now is slowing down, but I'd like to keep moving forward. In the short term, I have a shed that we can possibly practice in, but if you've got a space, that works as well. My work is pretty demanding, but I want to make a musical endeavor work. Looking for at least the general rock band basics (guitar, bass, drums, plus keys would be great too). Backing vocals strongly encouraged.
