General Construction Assistant Commercial Construction, Senior Housing Interior / Exterior Renovations Midwest Commercial Construction and Management (www.midwestccm.com) is a full-service Senior Housing general contractor in the Rocky Mountain, Pacific and Mid-West regions. Midwest CCM is seeking a full-time commercial construction General Assistant for senior housing specific capital projects and large-scale community renovations. The General Construction Assistant will be hands-on, in the field working alongside and assisting our in-house professional tradespeople. As General Construction Assistant you will: 1.Work alongside and assist in-house tradespeople with executing daily and weekly task; prep, demo, framing, drywall, carpentry, painting and light plumbing and electrical. 2. Load, unload and deliver building materials to appropriate project location. 3. Clean construction area by removing hazardous materials and debris from the designated work areas. Prepare, pack up and clean project site in preparation for final delivery to client. 4. Assist with delivering successful high-quality projects on time and under budget. 5. Follow and enforce all OSHA safety requirements, construction best practices and state, federal and trade association building codes. 6. Respond and proactively communicate with in-house tradespeople, Production Manager and Project Manager in a timely and professional manner. 7. Other general construction duties as assigned. Construction experience, knowledge of the various construction trades best practices and hands-on skills is recommended. Must be detail oriented, have strong work ethic, ability to follow direction and work as a team. Ability to lift 50 lbs. is required. Salary will be based on experience. Must be legally authorized to work within the Unites States and have a valid drivers license.
