This workshop is for anyone who wants to improve the quality of their breathing. Whether you struggle with a specific breathing disorder, have a desire to increase your endurance or further your meditation practice. There is something for everyone.
A short lecture on anatomy, psychology, and spirituality, followed by meditation breathing practice, and movement. Bring your yoga mat, cushion or blanket. Wear comfortable clothes.
PS: Try not to eat a large meal beforehand.
1) Ujjayi – The Victorious breath calms and relaxes the mind & body
2) 4 Part – Learn to utilize the maximum expansion of your lungs to provide the cells with an optimum oxygen supply for cellular function.
3) Alternate Nostril – This breath balances the right and left sides of the brain & brings about concentration & focus.
4) Kapal Bhati – Forehead or Skull Shining breath is great for used for mental clarity and detoxify the body.
5) Humming Bee – This breath will bring you balance, relaxation, and ease to your nervous system.
