The Washington Home Affordability Program is designed to help people purchase a home, and the State will help you with as much as 4% toward your home purchase. You can be a first time home buyer or a persona that owns a home and wanting to sell that home some something that better fits your family needs (if when you close on the new home you do not own any other homes). *
The class is broken down into two sections, buying a home and then financing.
In the Buying a home portion we will discuss: Why you need a Realtor, building up your savings, Building your Credit, Importance of getting Pre-Approved, Costs associated with buying a home, then what to look for in a home: Condition, Size and Type, Price and Location, then we will discuss the 16 Steps to buying a home.
In the Financing portion you will learn: What loans are available for you, how they affect your decisions, what is considered in the credit approval process, how the WA BOND loan works, who is qualified to provide the loan.
This class is a required by the state 5 hours, and we make sure we use every minute to help you understand and answer all your questions from the real estate side to the loan side.
*This loan program does have credit and income requirements.
