Join us for our 7th annual kid-led bake sale by purchasing sweet treats and/or as a volunteer to benefit The Tree House CAC of Montgomery County Maryland, which provides critical services to abused and neglected kids. Our last Bake Sale raised $4,000, and our goal in 2022 is to raise $5,000 for The Tree House!! **If you would like to participate as a volunteer or baker, please email Andrea at [email protected] to sign up. What we need from Volunteers: - at least 15 "bakers" to bring 25-50 treats (please label treats or bring a small sign denoting what your treat is) - Kids/parents to "run" the sale - 8 Kids to make signs and hold them throughout the neighborhood. - All participants and supporters to share this event on Facebook Volunteers, please show up between 1:30 pm and 1:45 pm & bakers feel free to drop off treats at that time or earlier if you cannot stay. Kids are encouraged to attend and help. 100% of all proceeds go directly to The Tree House. If you cannot attend the bake sale or help with treats but still want to help, here’s the donation link where you can give directly to TTH for this campaign. Here is a list of how different donation amounts translate into the work of The Tree House: $5 Pays for courthouse parking for our Family Advocate assisting clients $10 Provides snacks and drinks for 10 children who are waiting for services $20 Allows us to buy new toys and books for our waiting room $25 Provides first aid supplies for one month $30 Allows our Family Advocate to attend court with our children for 1 hour $50 Provides 1 hour of Mental Health Therapy $50 Provides transportation for a child to and from The Tree House when he or she may have no other way to get to us. $125 Provides 1 hour of Physician care $150 Provides a skilled Forensic Interviewer for one forensic interview $250 Pays for 14 days of HIV prophylaxis for one child $500 Allows us to perform a full psychological assessment of a child $1000 Allows us to perform a full medical exam including all lab work for a child $1000 Allows us to perform a complete forensic evaluation of a child $5000 Will enable us to provide one family with a full course of medical, therapeutic, and family assistance services Please tell friends, register, and send questions to Andrea at [email protected].
