Lynchburg’s beloved Candlelight Tours are back at Old City Cemetery Museums and Arboretum for the 15th year in a row! For our SEATED MATINEE PERFORMANCE on Oct. 16th, our cast and characters promise an afternoon to remember as they take to our "stage" to perform a series of 5 original vignettes. You'll hear the fascinating tales of the lives, and deaths, of Lynchburg residents long past. You’ll also enjoy live music by the talented Jim Robertson, and a special performance by Temeka Younger, who will be singing an original song composed by James Ballard, specifically for our 2022 Candlelight Tours. Our matinee performance will be handicap accessible, with no walking necessary. We do strongly discourage participants under the age of 8, as some of the content tackles mature topics such as death and slavery.
