Description

This is a silent retreat where you will be taught how to pray in the tradition of St. Ignatius of Loyola (meditation, contemplation, hearing God’s voice, explanation of the “Examen” prayer, etc.) In addition to conferences on prayer given by our chaplain / retreat director, time will be given for practicing Ignatian meditation. The weekend also includes Mass on Saturday and Sunday, opportunities for Sacramental Confession and Eucharistic adoration. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Deposit Information: We ask for a nonrefundable deposit to confirm your registration. Retreatants typically deposit $50*, as a portion of their total retreat donation. You are welcome to make your full donation at this time, or upon arrival at the retreat house. While Villa Maria Guadalupe is donation only, it may be helpful to know that the total expense for one person over a weekend is about $200. (I.e. a $50 deposit and a $150 donation, totaling $200, would cover the entire cost of your retreat). We are grateful for whatever you are willing/able to give! *Exceptions: We do not want a "cost" to keep anyone from coming on retreat!
