Description

Join us all summer long as we bring lululemon Lincoln Park’s classes and experiences outdoors! From June through August, meet us on the 6th floor above Revival Food Hall (125 S. Clark Street) These signature experiences will incorporate special guests, live music, giveaways, and much more! Experience all that our lululemon Lincoln Park's experiential store has to offer, where you want to be this summer – in the sun. The Healing is a nonprofit (501-C3), that focuses on creating safe spaces and experiences for BIPOC men to engage in wellness practices, find fellowship, and normalize mental health as a community. In partnership with lululemon Lincoln Park, The Healing will close out the Summer Series programming with a dynamic fundraiser wellness event. We will host a co-ed signature yoga flow led by lululemon ambassadors Jeremy Walton & Paige Willis with all proceeds supporting our BIPOC yoga teacher certification scholarship. Our 45 -minute yoga flow will offer participants a unique co-ed, co-led flow experience. We will offer participants experiential opportunities to further support our scholarship fundraising beyond the purchase of their ticket to the flow. Noted multi-disciplinary artist, Dwight White II, will produce a live painting during the flow that will be auctioned off at the end of the session, in addition to a raffle of donated experiences from local lifestyle and fitness businesses. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go to the healing to help fund their scholarship program. Scholarship:BIPOC Men make up less than 1% of yoga instructors nationwide. Additionally, most BIPOC communities don’t have the same access to yoga and other avenues to address their wellness and mental health needs. As a part of our commitment to normalize wellness for the BIPOC community, The Healing is proud to offer a yoga scholarship for BIPOC men who are looking to earn their 200 - Hour teacher certification. We believe representation matters. More BIPOC instructors in this space will lower barriers of entry for our community, ultimately fueling our mission to normalize mental health practices for BIPOC men and the resulting impact on the communities around them. All fitness levels are welcome. We will provide mats for this class, if you prefer to bring your own you are welcome to do so!
