Join our facilitators Carey Friedman and Jay Taylor (@currentvibrations) for an experience in Yin Yoga (slow/relaxing yoga) and Sound Meditation. Nestled in the Secret Garden, surrounded by architecture from the 1800s, you will have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself on a deeper level, find release, and sink into a state of deep relaxation. Allow the powerful frequencies of the crystal bowls to swirl around you and through you as you are guided to explore beginner level postures. Both before and after the Yoga/Meditation there will be opportunities to engage with the welcoming Pilsen community. Emil Rojo will be providing a set of live music during which you can explore the wares of a few local vendors/artists, engage in the arts and crafts table, receive a cupping/ear seeding session with an acupuncturist from Sanctuary Health (donation based), and purchase a fresh juice or wrap from Bellis Juice. Very few people have seen or experienced an event in this architectural gem. Take this opportunity to try something new, share space in community, find relaxation, and invest in your own well-being. All are welcome, no previous experience in meditation or yoga is required to participate and receive the benefits.
