They must be able to manage their time effectively and be problem solver. Dependability and the ability to work individually with minimal supervision or on a team is a must. A few qualifications this integral person must possess are: 1) Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming 2) Mechanical aptitude and good math skills 3) Ability to read and follow plans and instruction 4) Must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines 5) Ability to work with great concentration and precision 6) Familiarity with general shop machinery, tools, basic shop tools and hand tools 7) Working with metals, wood, and plastics 8) Excellent communication skills 9) Strong written and verbal skills required in English 10) Time management abilities 11) Problem solving skills a must 12) Positive attitude and strong work ethic 13) Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry up to 75lbs 14)Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time 15)Must be on time and dependable 16) Must be organized, motivated and able to handle multiple detailed duties with a high level of accuracy A day in the life of a channel letters technician would be: 1) Running a CNC coil bender 2) Material handling 3) Low voltage LED wiring 4) Mounting LEDs 5) Trim-capping acrylic faces 6) Basic assembly Compensation DOE: $16 - $20 /hour (with the potential of increases after 60 days) Hours: Monday – Friday, 6 am to 4 pm What benefits Humble Sign Co has to offer you: Humble Sign Co offers affordable Medical, Dental and Vision insurance.
