They must be able to manage their time effectively and be a problem solver. Dependability and ability to work individually with minimal supervision or on a team is a must. A few qualifications this integral person must possess are: 1) Must be able to read a measuring tape! You will be tested. 2) Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry up to 75lbs with the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. 3)The ability to prioritize and multitask at a high volume of work. 4) Being a team player with high attention to detail is a requirement. This position works closely with each department to make sure they have the supplies/materials for future jobs. 5) Superb professional communication and organizational skills. 6) Basic Computer Skills A day in the life of the shop assistant would be: 1)Helping the paint department with sanding and prep 2) Assisting fabrication with assembly 3) Assisting with set-up and organization of parts and materials 4) Perform quality control checks using the quality control checklist 5) Running basic shop errands (Picking up supplies, parts, and materials etc.) Compensation DOE: $16 - $22 /hour (with the potential of increases after 60 days) Hours: Monday – Friday, 6 am to 4 pm What benefits Humble Sign Co has to offer you: Humble Sign Co offers affordable Medical, Dental and Vision insurance.
