About this free event: In February of 2020, 18-year-old college freshman, Nathan Lewis, experienced a severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) while longboarding with friends in La Mirada, CA. Over two years later, Nate is still recovering from his injuries but the faith journey of his family has inspired many. Two graduates of Biola University's School of Cinema and Media Arts have dedicated time to make a film that brings TBI awareness while centering the story around the perseverance and faith of the Lewis family. Come join us for the San Diego Premiere of the “RestoreNate" Documentary on Saturday, October 15 at 6:30pm in the Chapel of Emmanuel Faith Community Church. The evening will include live musical performances, a Q&A panel with the Lewis family and film crew, and, of course, a viewing of "RestoreNate".
