Join the Leadership Empowerment Institute Committee and the Arts and Letters Committee of the Miami Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and our Hollywood Sponsor, Lakitsia Gaines - State Farm Agent, for the movie premiere of The Woman King.   The American historical epic film focuses on Agojie, the all-female warrior unit who protected the West African kingdom of Dahomey during the 17th to 19th centuries. Starring a stellar cast, including Viola Davis, Thuso Mbedu, Lashana Lynch, Sheila Atim, and John Boyega, the film is directed by Gina Maria Prince-Bythewood of Love and Basketball and Disappearing Acts.  The movie is rated PG-13. Your admission includes an entrée, one candy selection and unlimited popcorn and drinks.
