Free Event - Bio blitzes are great ways to engage the public to connect to their environment while generating useful data for science and conservation. They are also an excuse for naturalists, scientists, and curious members of the public to meet in person in the great outdoors and are a lot of fun!
Join ERM staff at Palm Beach County's largest natural area! We will hike through a recently burned area to discuss the fire management and restoration activities that have taken place here. Many plants are reborn after the blaze of fire! We will use i-Naturalist to document what we see! The hike will be approximately 1.5 miles and will include the lush hardwood hammock of the Ocean to Lake Hiking Trail.
We will begin by meeting at the main parking lot (11855 Beeline Highway, Palm Beach Gardens).
