Join the Muslim Chaplaincy at UM, Ann Arbor, and Felicity Foundation, for our 1st Annual Student Spirituality Retreat: "Power and Measure: Seeking Empowerment and Balance through the Quran."
This event is open to currently enrolled university students.
Location: Trotter Multicultural Center, UM, Ann Arbor
Date and Time: Friday, 10/7/22, 7-10pm; Saturday, 10/8/22, 11am - 10pm.
Cost: $20, includes lunch and dinner on Saturday, 10/8. Fee waivers available, see below.
This two-day spirituality retreat seeks to equip university students with the knowledge, practices, and guidance they need to seek empowerment and balance through the Quran.
Inshallah, over the course of four workshop sessions, our keynote speakers, Imam Fode Drame and Sh. Mohammed Ishtiaq, will guide students through the foundations of Quranic spirituality, knowledge and wisdom. Attendees will bond with the speakers and among themselves through prayer, meals, small-group discussions and group reflection exercises. An immersive experience, this retreat aims to nurture bonds of faith, character and service among Muslim students at UM, Ann Arbor, and with students at neighboring universities.
