Join us as we host Church World Service staff and hear from several new residents to hear their stories of arrival in Lancaster. For many years, CWS has been re-settling newcomers to our internationally-recognized city of welcome. Come hear brief presentations from: Apsara Uprety, a refugee community leader and graduate student at Millersville University (MU). She is a Lancaster resident and a former Bhutanese refugee, originally from Nepal, and is involved in peer mentoring, community service, and advocacy.
