Stolen 98 shadow 750 help

My 98 shadow was stolen. Black tank and fenders chrome every were else.a tall white guy tattoos all over both arms and neck with 2 women in the truck offered to buy it asked for a test ride said he would leave his red Chevy with me as collateral. He took off never to be seen again. Police said the red truck was stolenhis company (2) female split off in different directions. Bike has a long dent in right side of tank right side break leaver all so bent in to a crescent moon shape. Please help reward may be involved. I took the saddle bags off to wash it so they were not on when stolen
