Apartment buildings in Ellwood in need of a responsible, part-time custodian, who is also interested in helping with maintenance at times. This job includes a variety of tasks keeping apartment buildings in keeping up the curb appeal of all 6 buildings.
The right person would be responsible for:
• Cleaning of laundry rooms
• Cleaning of common areas
• Emptying trash bins & replacing bags
• Cleaning dumpster areas & recycling areas
• Policing grounds for trash or other items
• Cleaning buildings and outside furniture/fixtures of spider webs and debris
• Sweeping landings and walkways
• Power washing landings, walkways, stairways, etc.
• Reporting any issues on the property
• Assisting maintenance team when your skill set permits
• Cleaning of other areas as deemed necessary by supervisor
• May include occasional light cleaning of apartments
You must be able to follow written instructions and work without continuous supervision. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and use a power washer.
We will provide training, though experience is helpful. 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
