JOB ANNOUNCEMENT 2021-64 REPOST NATIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT announces an opening for the position of: BUYER/STOREKEEPER (8 hours per day, 12 months per year) PURPOSE STATEMENT: Under the direction of the Director of Business Support Services, the job of Buyer/Storekeeper is done for the purpose of procuring assigned product lines; maintaining warehouse inventory levels; overseeing warehouse operations; maintaining the fixed asset inventory system; resolving complaints; and providing for timely delivery of warehouse stores, stock and outside orders throughout the District. Knowledge: of basic math including calculation of fractions, percents and/or ratios; safety practices and procedures; purchasing and stores procedures; pertinent policies, codes, regulations and/or laws. Skills: to perform single technical tasks with a need to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions; operate equipment used in the warehouse; operate standard office equipment including pertinent software application, operate a forklift. Experience: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired. Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Forklift Operator experience desired. SALARY/BENEFITS: Appropriate placement on the current Classified Salary Schedule, Range 27, $24.45 to $29.86 per hour. Employees receive health, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage and District contribution to the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement containing an agency shop provision. MEDICAL EXAMINATION: Offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a District-paid pre-placement medical examination, which includes drug testing, FBI and Criminal Justice Fingerprint clearance ($77 processing fee).
