United Logistic Services is a Growing Mid-Size Trucking Company located in Long Beach CA near the Compton area. We work with the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach moving containers for all export and import needs to 48 states. We are seeking a mechanic with experience working with diesel trucks can assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment ( Trucks, Chassis, Containers, etc.) The individual needs to be very organized, self- starter, responsible, detail oriented and work well with others. We Offer: -Full Time Monday-Friday. Starting at 8am up to10 hrs/day -Pay $17-30 hourly based on experience and skills -Health Insurance, Dental, Vision and Life, 401k -Paid sick leave and vacation time Required Skills : -Being able to perform basic truck and trailer repairs ie. changing lights, adjusting breaks, etc. -Acceptable written and verbal communication skills -Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment -Communicate effectively via phone/email to coordinate repairs and part ordering -Strong documentation and organizational skills with attention to details -Ability to multi-task / multi-projects -Available to work overtime -Required to exert physical effort in handling heavy objects most of the workday as well as to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often Experience: - Experience working with Diesel Trucks (required) -Available to start in 2 weeks or less If you are interested or have any questions feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
