Part-time Night Shift - Pressure Washing

Do you prefer to work outdoors, but not under the hot Sun, and not be stuck in a warehouse? Do you prefer to not deal with customers or the general public, and to work alone? No writing or reading needed. English speaking not required. If any of the above sounds good to you then you might be a good fit for the Part-time Night Shift doing Pressure Washing of concrete sidewalks. Hours: Shifts typically from 9:30pm to 4am. Approximately 10 to 15 hours a week (usually 2 to 3 nights a week). (occasional Saturday mornings available, around 6:30am, for 1-3 hours of pressure washing). Requirements: Honesty, integrity, and a good work ethic. 100% Drug Free (no Marijuana or any other drugs). No alcohol. Must have Valid California Drivers License (no CDL needed) with clean driving record. Able to work alone and stay on task. Trustworthy and Responsible. Detail Oriented. Ability to lift, and carry, 40+ pounds for extended periods. Be able to drive safely pulling a 16 foot utility trailer with a standard pickup truck; obeying all traffic laws. Able to back-up into parking spaces with trailer attached. Typical tasks: Pressure washing concrete sidewalks using trailer-mounted, commercial hot-water high pressure washer. Steam generated from hot water and high pressure is is used to removed debris, gum, and other contaminates from concrete walkways. Pull approximately 100 feet of pressure hose and use a rotary surface cleaner and/or high pressure washer wand/gun. (Due to high pressure system both hands are used at the same time to hold onto surface cleaner and/or wand/gun. The high pressure requires upper-body strength to control the washer. Cannot be operated with one hand.) Occasional pressure wash trash enclosures; including pushing dumpsters out of the way and picking up/sweeping up trash debris left on the ground of the enclosure. Location: The equipment storage yard is located in the city of Bellflower. This is the location that every shift will start and end at. You must have reliable transportation to get to and from work. Pay: $18 per hour during training over the first 90 days ($19 per hour after training is complete and you are able to do complete pressure washing route independently alone). Raise to $20 per hour after 6 months of independently doing pressure washing routes alone. Paid Weekly. If interested, and meet ALL the requirements listed above, please reply to this ad.
