Description

We have made the very difficult decision to look at rehoming our “Jasper”. He’s been part of our furry friend family for about six years, coming to us as a rescue. This pup has a full spectrum of personality, ranging from warming your lap whenever possible to announcing package delivery. His secret talent is catching flies, and he will let you know about thunder rolling long before you might hear any. Jasper is fiercely loyal, often forgetting he’s smaller than most other dogs or people. He is trained with basic obedience, is housebroken, and overall an easy keeper. Why the rehome? Jasper is one of three dogs in our mix, plus a cat. We have a busy house that often triggers behavior with him. Two young adult children, one with special needs, plus two businesses means not a lot of peace and quiet and needed attention for this pup. By the way, he is approaching seven years. He will bark without pause at a visitor, until they are seated. He will dash out the front door if given the chance. He will mark furnishings if not crated at night or when leaving for a few hours, though he is neutered. It is manifestation of anxiety. Jasper deserves to be the center of someone’s world. The only pet, best suited for a home without children. He would make an exceptional watch/alert animal companion. He is current on vaccines, but could definitely use a teeth cleaning. Wow - long narrative. Obviously a hard decision. We will be very picky about Jasper’s new forever home. That rehome fee is to help ensure a loving home for him. Please email with your interest in meeting this li’l guy.
