Independent business owner has several job openings for booths at the Carolina Renaissance Festival. The work days are weekends, October 1st through November 20th, each Saturday and Sunday. Hours are 9:00am - 15 minutes after closing cannon - time changes to earlier as daylight hours shorten throughout festival dates. Pay is $130/day, including paid breaks. Festival experience a plus (as a previous worker or as a guest) but not required - we will train. Please be aware that we play the parts of merchants, so costuming doesn't have to be fancy, but does need to be time-period accurate. We do not supply the garments, but can advise on easy and inexpensive means to obtain. We are on our feet all day, working in a fun and fast-paced setting. Ability to interact with festival guests in a friendly and professional manner, as well as having a strong work ethic, are musts.
