We're Hiring Utility Locators!!! Center Line Locating is a private utility locating company located in Charlotte, NC offering underground utility locating for both commercial and residential clients. Our services include locating above ground, vertical location of utilities by hydro-excavating and CCTV inspection of sanitary sewer and storm lines. We are a City of Charlotte S/WBE vendor and HUB certified by the State of North Carolina. Our Services Field Locating Center Line Locating offers “SUE B” level field locating for both commercial and residential projects. We mark both private and public underground electrical, telephone, gas, water, sewer and CATV lines in the most timely and accurate manner. Vertical Locate of Utilities We safely locate and expose underground utilities by hydro excavating “SUE A” level soft digs or test pits. Soft digs allow our clients to receive vertical data for the utility and use the information for design or construction efforts. We're Hiring!!!!! CCTV Camera Inspection Center Line Locating, LLC offers commercial video line inspection of storm drain and sewer sanitary lines by NASSCO certified technicians. Our camera is capable of recording video footage of any obstructions and defects within an existing line or recording footage for inspections required by municipalities. Vacuum/Flush Our team has a vacuum truck capable of flushing, jetting and vacuuming out storm, sanitary sewer, man holes and detention systems. Position Overview Field Locator & Operator Job Type: Full Time Schedule: Monday to Friday, Saturdays (Occasionally) Learn and master use of digital locating equipment, such as verifier, receiver and pipe horn to locate underground utilities Assist with daily preparation duties before dispatching to job site Assist with end of day closing duties after job site duties are completed Provide assistance with hydro-excavating equipment in preparation of, while on, or closing out a job site Coordinate and call-in public locating tickets Accurately complete weekly timesheet and reports on a daily basis Perform and retain site information related to job tasks and report detailed information to supervisor Perform miscellaneous tasks as necessary to help accomplish Center Line Locating’s daily, weekly, monthly goals Exhibit professional interaction with clients, project owners, client representatives, land owners, and/or the public Follow directions from supervisor as well as other members of staff and management team in order to efficiently complete tasks Safely operate company assigned equipment such as commercial motor vehicles, instruments, and other related tools and technical equipment as directed by supervisor Position Requirements High School Diploma or GED Certification Valid Driver’s License with Good Standing Driving Record Reliable daily transportation Must be able lift at least 50 pounds Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Adobe PDF Demonstrates strong and collaborative work ethic Strong communication skills Preferred Experience Utility locating experience and/or field equipment experience Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B Survey/SUE experience Vacuum excavation truck experience Relevant field experience Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life & AD&D Insurance 401(k) Flexible Spending Account Health Savings Account Disability insurance Paid time off
