Frankie is an 8 year old golden retriever, she is a perfect family dog. She is a little shy when you first meet her but she is so sweet, loves to go on walks, getting treats, and playing fetch ( although she has a hard time understanding she has to give the ball back to play). I am moving away to college and unfortunately i have to give her away. She tends to do better without other dogs, since she’s older she doesn’t like to roughhouse and instead just sleep all day. She is good with kids, men and women, although sometimes kids scare her. She is fully potty trained, leash trained and has awesome recall. She is not crate trained because she doesn’t have any destructive behavior and is potty trained, she can be left alone for long periods of time. She doesn’t bark at the door or at new people coming into the house, but occasionally will bark at the backyard door if she needs to go potty. She’s doesn’t have any health problems but her teeth are bad, from age and also i think her previous owners abused her and somehow broke a few. She has never been professionally groomed but she likes taking baths but fights getting her nails trimmed, if you give her some peanut butter she’ll cooperate :). She is an older but perfect doggie. She will come with collar + leash, food + water bowl, toys and some treats and if needed a weeks worth of food. small rehoming fee to ensure she goes to good home.
