Before we dive in - this is not just a parts swapper position but one where your ability to do the job RIGHT and maintain a high level quality control are key! TFS is an established (12+ years) small business focused on the Golf, Utility, and other small vehicle industry and is in need of a new team member who will finalize new vehicles and recondition vehicles. Mechanical aptitude is important but not coming with bad habits is even more important. You need to be clean & organized and take pride in your work. TFS is the largest company in Las Vegas focused on the sales, service, and maintenance of small gas and electric vehicles (we also work on a lot of other much larger and cooler stuff but the smaller stuff pays the bills). We work with both private consumers as well as the valley's largest corporate and government organizations. {The shop is large enough and management is relaxed enough to allow you to work on your own toys before or after work.} Our team likes to laugh and we pick on one another (a lot) - so having the ability to laugh at yourself is also important. We expect you to be communicative about your work, especially if you run into anything unexpected. The specific job is the building of new or reconditioned golf and utility vehicles. TFS has all the specialty tools and equipment you will need to perform any work but you need to have your own tool box with all the basics as well as a cordless impact driver with enough battery power to last an 8 hour shift. We recently became the only Polaris Dealer in the region authorized to work with government and military entities on their MRZRs and other special forces vehicles. Yes we also work on grandma's electric golf cart with dingleberries hanging from the canopy - gotta take care of grandma. It is also an advantage to have comfort and ability to tow a trailer behind a heavy duty pick-up truck - a few times a year it is all hands moving cars for large rentals around the Valley. This is a full time position - Monday through Friday, starts promptly at 7:30 am and concludes by 4 pm - 1/2 hr to 1 hr for lunch. TFS offers paid holidays as well as vacation/PTO after one year of employment. We offer paid dental care as well as a subsidy for your family.
