Millworker - Woodshop - Machine Operator

ZK Carpentry specializes in the manufacturing and installation of custom architectural millwork. We are seeking highly motivated employees who love to learn and grow in the woodworking industry. Job Duties: • Setup and operate wood processing machinery • Taking raw materials and ripping / sizing them for different components • Will need to communicate regularly with shop foremen • Follow company policies and processes involving safety regulations, quality procedures, work instructions, documentation and requirements of material orders. Training: • We will train you! You will learn to run machines and equipment and get cross trained in other production areas as you get more experience and show proficiency. Qualifications: • Previous machinist/machine operator experience preferred, but not required. • Reliable and punctual to work scheduled shifts, and maintain good attendance • Strong mechanical skills/aptitude and ability to learn. • Must regularly lift and/or move materials • Shift 7am – 3pm Monday through Friday Pay and Benefits: • $19+ per hour. 40+ hours/week • If you have previous related machine operator experience, you are eligible for a higher starting rate. • Eligible for company sponsored benefits after 60 days: medical, dental, HSA, short term disability & life insurance, six paid holidays and PTO.
