Salary: Commission, rate will depend on prior experience Job Type: Full Time Job Description: 1st Class Auto Body is seeking an experienced Auto Body Lead Painter. If you have a paint prepper that you would like to bring with you, please let us know. All painters and preppers are paid from the total flagged hours for the paint shop. Primary responsibilities include: • Competent understanding of repair procedures and vehicle design • Follow all safety and technical guidelines • Take direction from the Production Manager and non-Production staff as required • Control paint supplies and inventory • Ensure all needed repairs are identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time • Plan work procedures and follow work order for all operations listed • Perform all repairs with the appropriate materials and tools • Read work order completely throughout the entire repair process • Consistently deliver high-quality and timely work Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age • Auto body painting experience required • Ability to effectively communicate with others • Team player • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented • Ability to read and understand instruction, written estimates, and work orders • Multi-task and adapt easily to fast-paced environment • Personable and friendly demeanor with excellent customer service Benefits: • Medical and Dental Insurance • Supplement Benefit Package Available • Paid Holidays, Sick, and Vacation Schedule: • Monday through Friday Work Location: • Burlington Benefit Conditions: • Waiting period applies Work Remotely: • No If interested, please send cover letter, resume, I-CAR certifications, and references
