Company is searching for a qualified candidate to fill a multi-faceted position in our growing company in Knoxville, TN. As the Assistant Repair Technician, specific duties include but are not limited to: 1. Repairs a. Receive, evaluate, provide estimates, and complete repairs on customers’ breathalyzers. b. Assist in monitoring inventory levels of parts, and used and refurbished breathalyzers. 2. Used/Refurbished Instruments a. Refurbish breathalyzers for resale, and for use in rental and training programs. 3. Customer Service a. Perform Customer Service functions of providing telephone technical support to customers and staff. As the Backup Shipping Clerk, this position will train under the Shipping Manager and be expected to fill in during absences. Duties include but are not limited to: 1. Daily Shipping a. Picking orders, packaging, & creating shipping labels with no errors. b. Utilize FedEx, UPS, USPS and international shipping options. c. Providing shipping quotes for Customer Service staff as needed. 2. Receiving and Upkeep of Inventory a. Physically receiving inventory, as well as receiving of inventory into company accounting database. b. Warehouse up-keep, and ongoing organization of product c. Periodic physical counts of inventory and associated reporting d. Assist in identifying low inventory levels General requirements for the position: • Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. • Basic mathematics and computer skills to utilize inventory system • Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to prioritize, take initiative and multitask • Must work well in a close-knit team environment, and have a great, can-do attitude. • Quickly learn full product line Company Benefits: Salary: $36k-42k DOE, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm EST Monthly bonuses and an annual performance-based bonus add the potential for an additional $6000-$8000 per year.
