The loader receives loose firewood at our lot, packs into bags, and stacks bags in our storage container and delivery van. Depending on the season and demand from residents and restaurants, hours range from 3 to 12 per week. Successful loaders will be given more hours and considered for delivery driver opportunities(higher pay rate plus tips).
Tasks:
Independently open and close lot.
Pack firewood in bags as instructed, to maximize the amount of wood per bag.
Load full bags into van and storage container tightly to maximize space, stacking 3-4bags high.
Use click counter provided to count and record total number of bags.
Separate smaller pieces and pack in smaller bags, as instructed.
Sweep up with broom/dust pan, put trash in dumpster.
Qualifications:
Able to do heavy lifting (full bags weigh 50-70 lbs)
Attention to detail
Able to remember/follow instructions
Responsive and reliable
