Provides skilled carpentry, general maintenance, and labor services related to construction at a variety of job sites, as directed by the Project Manager. Responsibilities/Essential Functions: • Provides carpentry and general labor in support of the construction managers and supervisors at residential, business, and commercial construction sites. • Unloads and loads materials; assists in the delivery or set up of materials and equipment. • Removes trash, residual building debris, and other materials from construction sites. • Assists with demolitions. • Prepares materials, including mixing/laying concrete, grout, cement, sand, or plaster. • Operates a variety of construction equipment and hand tools. • Reads blueprints and designs. • Performs carpentry and general labor duties as directed by the Project Manager and site supervisor. • Performs related duties as required and directed. • Demonstrates teamwork with co-workers and members of the community • Knowledge of ADA and Building Code requirements. • Adheres to workplace safety guidelines. • Travel to and work on construction sites with varying degrees of temperature, humidity, and noise. • Monday-Friday hours (8-4:30). Occasional evenings/weekends. Qualifications: Must have 3-5 years of experience in building/ construction trades. Knowledge of ADA and building codes; computer proficiency. Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance Job Type: Full-time Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour, Depending on experience Benefits: • 401(k) • Health insurance • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday
