Hello, I am looking to connect with an experienced, licensed plumber to handle several plumbing issues on a major backyard project being done without a permit. I want to work directly with the plumber and not hire a company that sends someone out so please do not reply if not the direct installer. A part-time or semi-retired, master looking for extra income would be ideal. I have a fair amount of work and tend to create more work for the right person who is easy to work with and charging a reasonable rate on either an hourly or daily basis. I pay daily and in cash and of course cover all material cost. I have an immediate need, as my contractor had attempted to use his jack-of-all-trades workers, who are outstanding laborers and concrete workers for some serious plumbing working with a gas line. I need to either locate (with tracer equipment) a 2” gas line that runs to a pool house or tap into meter directly to run a new gas line to feed a 89,000 BTU grill, 70,000 BTU power side burner and fire pit/ fire ring. Contractor felt his solution of using the current ½ line feeding the grill would be adequate. Obviously, I do not and hence are looking for a professional to handle this by installing at least 1” line and pressure testing install. Any trenching can be dug by laborers and you will only need to do the true plumbers work. Additionally, I need to tap into cold water line and drain which have been located and have a straight shot to the outdoor kitchen island. If interested and meet the qualifications, please provide the following in your reply email in order to get a response: 1. Qualifications level and current situation. 2. Availability to start projects and complete this initial issue which is less than a one day job followed by much more extensive work that can be done around your schedule as most is not in a rush. 3. Photos of your prior work such as panels or box runs. I am not looking for the lowest cost plumber but instead want a reliable, easy going and flexible person that is punctual, competent and efficient. Master level will be preferred, but will consider experienced journeyman. Again I am not interested, contracting with a company that sends out workers, but instead I want to build a relationship with an plumber for my multiple future projects. Thank you for looking.
