Position: Inventory Control Specialist Starting pay: $18/hr. Schedule: M-F, 8-5pm occasional OT and weekends- must be open to OT. Description: To maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and inventory reporting. Duties will include, but not limited to: • Performing daily cycle counts for a multi-client warehouse o Counts are logged with an RF scanner o Print pallet tags, as needed o Open cartons to verify number of pieces, if factory seal is broken • Operating a scissor-lift or picker machinery to view/count inventory in the racks • Reporting inventory variances before end of day • Repalletizing (consolidate inventory to reduce footprint, as needed) • When slow, assist others with entering orders in our system (data entry) Requirements: • Steel toe shoes required while in the warehouse and operating machinery • Forklift certified • Min 1-yr experience in inventory control • Attention to detail, able to notice differences in SKUs with close similarities • Able to problem solve, think critically, and determine where items should be located if no location • Able and willing to work majority of time on warehouse warehouse floor. Desk 5% warehouse floor 95%. • Able to lift at least 20-lbs with no assistance Other expectations: 1.) Punctuality – Must arrive on-time, must take breaks and lunches at designated times and at designated locations. 2.) Cell Phone Policy – No cell phones in the warehouse. 3.) Professionalism – we conduct customer visits regularly and we will maintain a professional environment at all times. Vulgar language should not be used. Absolutely no low-cut shirts/blouses, and ripped/torn clothing. 4.) Safety equipment – steel toe shoes and safety vest are required. This is a support roll which takes place within the warehouse.
