Exciting fast growing year-round Cape Cod based Landscaping and Garden Center business is looking for hard working team members like you. Jane White Miller (JWM) landscaping is a company that cares about their crews providing training and mentoring to ensure team member success. Team members often work alongside the owners. JWM landscaping is now hiring full-time mowing/maintenance staff to join our rapidly expanding organization. JOB RESONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Mow lawns using walk-behind or riding mower • Operate string trimmer to trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls. • Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed. • Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer. • Plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes. • Help in project work such as soil preparation for seeding • Trim shrubs, pull weeds and sweep walkway of debris. • Spring and Fall cleanups • Perform minor repairs and maintenance on grounds keeping equipment • Work with Supervisor to ensure daily tasks are completed on time and within parameters • Arrive on time for each work day • Outdoor work in various weather conditions is required. • Reliable transportation for a 7 AM shift start. JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: • Applicants must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and a clean driving record. • We will train the right candidate. Prior landscape experience a PLUS but not required. • Some plant identification knowledge a plus • Self-Motivation and the ability to work independently. • Integrity and Responsibility. • Ability to lift over 50 lbs., stand, bend, kneel, and reach. • Outdoor work in various weather conditions is required.
