Warehouse - Porter (Morning Shift) 9am - 2pm Monday - Wednesday 15 hours weekly. SUMMARY Maintains cleanliness in warehouse areas required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Gather and empty trash, consolidate trash for weekly pickup. Clean walls, racks and equipment. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Clean and restore building interiors using commercial cleaning equipment. Clean different surfaces using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Move furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
