Description
The job site has a lot of steep terrain and cliffs. You must be physically-fit and not afraid of heights.
Job Positions include (but not limited to):
Planting trees/plants. Weed-whacking and spraying.
Building trails with pick-ax.
Tree trimming / tree cutting / removal of invasive species on steep slopes with chainsaw.
Rapelling to remove invasive species from cliff faces.
Other miscellaneous labor.
Arborist and Rapelling experience is a plus and pays extra.
Arborists must have own equipment.
You will be expected to:
Be communicative, professional, reliable, and punctual.
Follow instructions.
Work a set schedule.
Be in good physical shape and able to carry heavy loads.
Be able to hike difficult and steep terrain.
Work rain or shine.
Accurately identify plant species.
Work unattended.
You are required to have:
Your own reliable transportation.
Your own phone.
Your own bank account.
Beginning pays starts at $25/hr for standard labor and increases substantially for hard labor (trail building), rapelling, and arborist work. Quality work is expected and required. Knowledgeable, experienced, high performance individuals are compensated well.
Position includes 2 weeks paid vacation per year.
This is not a cash position.
No smoking permitted on the job site or during work hours.
