The Mixtape Kids are a new 80s and 90s tribute band that will knock your fanny pack off. We need a bass player! Right now we have a female lead singer, electric guitar and co-lead singer, and a drummer. We're practicing every Sunday afternoon in Cocoa for the next 4 to 6 weeks, and then we're booking gigs. Gigs will be once per weekend in the Cocoa Beach area with occasional gigs in Melbourne and Orlando. It's all about bringing the fun and playing the songs people know and love. Just check out the set list below. We're looking for an experienced bass player around our age (40-ish, give or take a decade or so)... a bass player who can remember the bass parts without a lot of group rehearsals. Once we start gigging, group rehearsals will be rare. No drugs or heavy drinkers. A little drinking is totally fine... just stay sober during gigs.
