Students will work with glass to create unique fine art mosaics. This class is a fun modern twist on an ancient art practice. During this workshop, you will learn the basics of creating a unique glass mosaic. This workshop is designed to be meditative and stress-reducing with students encouraged to go at their own pace. (Required materials are included) Feel free to bring some of your own materials to add to your mosaic! Some potential materials are: broken glassware, pottery, buttons or jewelry. Any questions? Over the years, Dany has developed a unique approach that pushes the boundaries of traditional mosaics. She often incorporates “found objects” such as a discarded Bic lighters, broken teacups or lost reflectors. Most recently, Dany has exhibited work with Latela Curatorial, HOMME D.C. and the Strathmore Mansion.
