Class is located at The Enchanted Barista Sunday 10/16 9am-11:30am. They serve croissant sandwiches, baked goods, coffee and tea! You are encouraged to order something to enjoy during class in support of this business while they welcome us into their space. Join us for a special morning workshop in a magical coffee shop. Enter into the wonderful world of creating own crochet projects! I learned to crochet 23 years ago and it is my first love. This is a timeless craft with endless possibilities and I cannot wait to share it with you!! In this class I introduce you to crochet, walking you through the basics with step-by-step instructions and hands on guidance (in a small group setting) to create a cute little pumpkin. You will be able to apply the techniques and knowledge learned during class at home to continue creating other projects. What you will learn: How to hold your crochet hook and yarnHow to make a slip knot, crochet a chain plus the HDC (half double crochet) and slip stitchHow to finish your pumpkin projectWhy you should take this class: This class will show you how to master the basics without overwhelming you with unnecessary information. You’ll leave class with a complete project and knowledge to continue creating at home!What is included in this class: 2.5 hours of crochet instruction in a personal and small group settingall materials needed to create one pumpkin project plus extra yarn to make more at home (we will be working with Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick yarn in the color Pumpkin, you will receive 1 full skein)crochet hooktapestry needleIf you'd like, bring a pen and notebook so you can take notes as class is taught. All other supplies needed for class will be provided. Plan to arrive a few minutes early to order food/drink and be settled in as class will begin promptly at 9am. This will be a structured class but have a very relaxed feel as it will be taught in a small and comfortable group setting, all are welcome ages 16+. If you are an absolute beginner with no previous crochet experience, this class is for you!
