We are inviting you to help bring our community back together in a toast to 2022. Please join us for the return of OCO’s annual “Giving Thanks” event, that has been postponed for the past two years. The event is being held on Friday, November 4th at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center in Oswego from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. More than a fundraising event, “Giving Thanks” promotes local restaurants and businesses who donate a special menu item, which is then expertly paired with a beverage and offered at food stations throughout the conference center. The food and beverage pairing event also includes live music by local legend John McConnell and raffles. OCO believes in building partnerships that strengthen our community. We hope that you will support OCO in our work to end hunger and food insecurity in our communities. More than 15,000 people in Oswego County lack access to enough food for an active, healthy life and there is limited availability to nutritional foods. The Giving Thanks event will support the “Giving that Grows” initiative, helping to end hunger and food insecurity locally. You can help make a difference in the fight against food insecurity!
