EmergeOrtho's Physical Therapy Team is offering a free balance assessment clinic to celebrate Fall Prevention Awareness Week.Why Attend?Falls can result in serious orthopedic injury. Implementing preventative strategies to reduce your risk of falling can help you maintain your independence. What to Expect?Join us to learn why Balance is essential for Staying Active as you age. Our physical therapists will assess participants fall risk utilizing functional mobility, strength, and endurance testing methods. Other measures, including vision and blood pressure checks will also provided. Attendees can expect to receive individualized fall prevention guidance following the event. Who Should Attend?Whether you are living independently or rely on others, you may benefit from attending. Attendees are welcome to "drop in" with their confirmed ticket. The event will be offered from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 20th at EmergeOrtho's Summerfield location. COVID-19 PolicyAll participants will be required to wear a procedure-style mask covering your mouth & nose while inside EmergeOrtho's office space.
