I am a percussionist looking to start a band with my friend Loretta. We are both 20-30 yr age range MFA students at City Collage, Fans of Kim Deal "The Breeders" Tanya Donelly (throwing muses/belly) Mary Timony (AutoClave/Helium) Babes in Toyland and also more avant, experimental odd weird stuff because we are indeed MFA students, she likes performance art, as do i, also I like SKRONK (think The Shaggs) and just anything bizarre like Melt Banana, Noise like Aids Wolf/HarryPussy etc etc etc we like all things feminocentric. We need a guitarist, or perhaps just a bassist with a distortion pedal. if this sounds cool to you send me a message, we are totally open to sounding like anything! anything youre into to add to the flavor, the fun, we are very welcoming to all types, ages and skill/beginner etc etc. we live and can make noise up in Harlem right by City Collage.
