I smiled at you a few days ago on the sidewalk in Park Slope - you stopped in your tracks and looked at me like you wanted to say something. I didn't want to make you feel weird, so I simply said "hi", smiled again, and kept walking. You went into an apartment one door down (not sure if it is your place or you were visiting someone).
