About the Maker MarketThe Maker Market brings arts, crafts, and goods from WSU student and local vendors directly to students, faculty, and staff of Wichita State University. The market is held at the heart of campus in the Rhatigan Student Center, 1st Floor. The space is adjacent to the campus's main food court and the RSC welcomes hundreds of guests each day. DateThe Fall 2022 Maker Market takes place Monday, November 7 through Thursday, November 10. Registration includes all four days. LocationThe Rhatigan Student Center is centrally located on the main campus of Wichita State University and is easily accessible from 17th street. The venue features various meeting rooms, student-centered offices, food court, bowling alley, and more. HoursPeak hours for the Rhatigan Student Center are 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and vendors may set-up earlier or stay later. Please indicate this in your registration. Registration FeesWSU Student Vendor (individual) - $10WSU Student Group Vendor (organization) - $15WSU Faculty/Staff Vendor - $40Non-WSU Affiliated Vendor - $60Add-on itemsOne 6-foot table is included with your registration and you may request up to two additional 6-foot tables at a rate of $10 each. Tables are listed as an add-on item and may be purchased with registration. Accepting PaymentsAll vendors are responsible for accepting payments from visitors to the Maker Market. Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, or credit/debit. Vendors accepting payments via credit/debit card must are prohibited from using WSU wireless networks and must capture payments from their own data or hotspot source. Vendors accepting credit/debit card payments must also complete Acceptance of Payment Cards by Non-WSU Merchants form. StorageWichita State University and Student Activities Council are not responsible for the storage of vendor materials. All materials must be removed daily from the premises as no secure locations are available. Any materials or display items left overnight are at the risk and responsibility of the vendor.
