Senior citizens in Matteson and Richton Park who need transportation to grocery stores, pharmacies, doctor's appointments, and other essential services, can now receive free rides thanks to a new collaboration between the SafeLight Foundation's Seniors Matter program, Village of Matteson, Richton Park, and Rich Township. Come learn about this new program at the Matteson Community Center, 20642 Matteson Ave., on Tuesday, September 20th from 12 pm - 3 pm. Enjoy a lunch, fresh produce giveaway, entertainment, and senior resources. Funding for the program is provided by a Community Challenge grant from AARP and the SafeLight Foundation.
