Join DeadBeach Brewery as we kick-off our first ever Borderland Food Wine and Beer Festival! This is a free admission culinary event that will take place on Saturday, September 24th, 2022. The festival is designed to celebrate the flavors of the borderland, where various restaurants from around the area will come by and showcase what they have to offer! Live cooking demonstrations and Chef competitions will take place throughout the day, as well as live jazz music on the main stage and DJs throughout the festival grounds. Boutique vendors will also be set up for attendees to browse through. The festival doors will open from 3pm to midnight and will host different segments throughout the day as follows: Social Hour: 3pm to 5pmJoin in on the festival’s Social Hour! Attendees can partake in pre-tasting event bites, sip on wine and beer, shop boutique vendors, enjoy live music and cooking demonstrations. The Grand Tasting: 5pm-10pmThe Grand Tasting- Restaurant participants open their festival kitchens to the public. Wine and beer paired dish tastings begin. The After Party: 10pm to MidnightThe After Party will keep the festivities going! Restaurant kitchens will close at this point, but featured dessert vendors, wine and beer, asl well as live music will continue! How It Works: Attendees can purchase festival food and wine/beer tickets that they will use at various food and drink vendor locations. Each festival ticket will be $2 plus tax, each vendor will price their food dishes between two and five tickets. Wine and beer pairing pours will be one to two tickets each, full wine and beer pours will be three to four tickets each. People’s Choice VotingFestival attendees will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite Grand Tasting dish! The winner of The Grand Tasting People’s Choice award will receive a $2500 prize.
